10月 Birthdays

Good Evening!

I'm already falling behind on blogging, so I have a bit to share tonight. I'll try to get through this quickly so I can head to bed. I've got a company meeting at 8 a.m. tomorrow.

I love the skirt I got a Spiral Girl! I wore it to work twice already, but I spilled mocha bianco on it day 1...

It was Priscilla's birthday on the 20th. We celebrated at Little Sheep. They do a AYCE Tuesday special for $23.95 for dinner.

I actually don't remember why I got this chocolate mousse at B&N. Shayne probably took me out for coffee after work one day and I was craving cake. I did not finish this (of course).

My uncle flew in from Macau and will be staying with us for the next month. He really enjoyed Pho Saigon, which is my favorite pho place!

He's a chef/restauranteur so that's a +1.

I worked five days straight and finally had a day off on Monday. Shayne and I went to Ahi and Vegetable. I love any place that has sushi rice as an option.

Wore my new StyleForSeven skort for Shalin's birthday dinner that night! We went to Yard House, but I didn't take many photos. I was hungry...

I need to be better about documenting through my photos! I should upload them onto Photobucket daily, even if I don't post right away. I'm starting to get my dates jumbled up with week and a half worth of photos to go through.

Spent my day off bumming around. Finally found the Line Town show online but it's only in Chinese subtitles. Guess I can put that Chinese to use...

Had a company mtg on Thursday morning even though my shift was at 1pm. Couldn't nap when I got home.

Wore my Milly Minis (size 12Y, ha) funnel neck dress to work yesterday. So comfy plus it has pockets. I rarely wear black so I felt like one of those salespeople in Chanel or Balenciaga. That's kind of the nice thing about no work uniform! I would hate to wear black every day.

Couldn't stay up when I started my shift so I had to get a double shot of espresso in my iced Mocha Bianco. Plus whipped cream. Ugh.

I've NEVER asked for extra shots of espresso.

Went to dinner with Shayne's family tonight. We had sushi but I ate very little since I wasn't really feeling raw fish.

The very sad mini Cinnabon I got after dinner. It tasted delicious, but what in the world is that oozing out of the bun...

Went to B&N and saw this amazing art deco illustration book. I kind of want it. Such a book hoarder! I still haven't finished the last five books I bought at the bookstore.

Work tomorrow but the great news is, I can look forward to two days off starting on Monday!

KS F&F Event

Good Evening,

Another work day goes by. My DM says I'm doing very well this period. Someone said that I was just "lucky." Tried not to let it get to me BUT... I spent nights studying the merchandise and always put my best foot forward at work for the customer and department. I do my best, and it's not "just luck."

Well anyway, I went shopping at the Kate Spade friends & family event. 25% off everything if you're invited! Of course I was invited by Kasey.

I was pretty excited for the Kate Spade x Magnolia Bakery collaboration but the merchandise selection at the store I go to is underwhelming. I actually really wanted to see jewelry pieces and that cupcake coin holder.

Shape is not that practical but man is it cute.

I decided to skip the Ingrada heels I was looking at. (Shayne convinced me that I didn't need them.) Ended up picking up this phone/card case wristlet for the iPhone 6. My LG G3 is the same size as an iPhone 6 heh. There's a little mirror inside that says "smile."

Got this silver plated card holder for $15. Says "let's do lunch." Can't wait to put in my new business cards!

I also got a MIIA skirt from Spiral Girl for $38 (originally $75!). Can't wait to wear it at work soon.

Shayne took me to Waikiki after and we spent most of our time looking at high end/luxury watches. (His favorite.)

Seeing this got me all excited for Spectre! One more month before my next dose of 007! Plus, Sam Smith's "Writing's On The Wall" is SO good.
